Down 2.5 pounds this week for a total of 9 pounds gone. Could be better, but at this point I'm just trying to have more good days than bad. I need to start exercising consistently. It'll have to wait until next week, though. I'm busy this weekend.

Small loss
After a very bad week (well, after a very bad two days), I lost 1/2 a pound! I expected I would gain. I will take it!

No Title
I don't think I've lost much, if any, weight this week. We'll see Friday morning. I've been doing okay on the program, but too much Chick-fil-A has been on the menu lately. I've got to work on that. And I gave in to a bunch of stress and frustration and ate a huge serving of tater tots at lunch today. What I really wanted was doughnut holes for breakfast, but I ended up skipping breakfast and eating the tots instead at lunch. I had tots, pineapple, and part of a Lean Cuisine.
I ate chinese food last Friday night, and I've had Chick-fil-A twice in the past week. Things aren't horrible other than that. I don't think I have a shot in hell in winning this contest because of the way they figure the winners (it's some excel program and I can't figure it out), but I think I'd have to lose like 30 pounds to win. Whatever. If I can lose 20 by spring break, I'll be extremely happy! That's less than two pounds a week. TOTALLY DO-ABLE!

Rough Day
I don't know if I can win this contest. I wasn't in the top three this week.
Also, I really wanted to stop at Jack In The Box for breakfast. I managed to pass it by and just have my normal cereal breakfast. Then when I got to work I was like, I'll just have a can of regular coke. I really needed some caffeine. But then everyone was weighing in and talking about how much they lost, so I ended up with a Diet Coke. So, there are two positive things for the day. For lunch, I broke down and ordered a chicken salad sandwich from Jason's deli. At least I got baked Lays. I have no clue what I'm having for dinner. I'm making a grocery list for tomorrow and then I can be back on track. I need more fruits and veggies, less sugar and sodium. We'll see what I can do.
On another low note, my scale at home said I only lost 4 pounds this week. The scale for the contest at work said it was 6. I am not unhappy with that personally, but if I'm going to win this contest, I've got to crack down this next week so I can be in the top three and kick ass.

My new favorite thing!
So, this has been around for a while, but I haven't seen new flavors in a while. I found the Crystal Light On the Go packets (where you dump flavor into your water bottle) and I wasn't going to get them, but then I saw the fruit punch flavor and caved. I love it! The lemonade flavor always did bad things to my stomach, but this one is great. :)
First contest weigh-in tomorrow. Because of my late start in the contest, I just hope I didn't gain anything. I am not expecting a loss tomorrow and I'm okay with that. :)

Day One! (sort of)
So I didn't sign up for the program until Friday, and I'd planned on starting up Saturday, but we ended up eating at the Cheesecake Factory and, well, there went that plan. I went to the grocery store today and while I was there (my goal was to spend less than $50 because I'm a little broke until payday) I realized I didn't want to eat breakfast at stinkin' 6:00 am every day. Then BAM! I thought about how I could just take a baggie of cereal with me to work and buy some skim milk there! DUH. The cafeteria opens at 7:30 and I can just eat breakfast at work every day. I am so smart. ;)
So I'm going to try and exercise tomorrow before work, which means a 5:00 am alarm clock. ICK! I can do it, though. :)
Also, I have to weigh in Wednesday, which sucks because I am just getting around to actually starting this whole thing. If I can get by with not gaining anything, I'll be okay. I weighed on my scale at home today and took my measurements (kind of), but I only plan on doing measurement checks once a month.
I'm going to be making a some kind of southwest chicken soup later. I'll post the recipe if it's any good.

The Biggest Loser
We are having a Biggest Loser competition with some of our staff members. There will be cash prizes at the end of the 12 week period. I signed up this morning. I got on my scale at home too because I want to keep track on my own as well. The most embarrassing thing doing this at work is that the nurse keeps track of everyone's weight. She's very nice and all, but those little digital scales? Yeah, I'm too heavy to even register a number. I had to use the weighted scale instead.
How's that for another wake-up call? Not having my own place to live is going to make this even more difficult. I'm going to the grocery store first thing tomorrow. Or maybe I'll do it tonight and get it over with.
I am so embarrassed right now.
